CT APPLICATIONS

We currently operate 1.25”, 2” and 2.375” OD Coiled Tubing strings with lengths of up to 2,300m.

All single trailered units complete with an on-board pumps, Units 1 and 2 have enclosed cabins, and variable position mast. Designed as a fit for purpose unit well suited for the coal seam gas sector. Easily adapted for use with e-line and hydraulic lines for downhole tool and communication functions. These units are equipped with an elite 80,000-pound capacity injector head. Unit 3 is equipped with a 32,000-pound injector and onboard picker crane for quick and easy rig ups.

Control Cabin

The Control Cabin is also fitted with an Orion Data Acquisition System and Cerberus real time Fatigue modeling software. This system can record all job parameters as well as record cycling fatigue on the coiled Tubing while conducting the job.

Injector Head

The Injector Head is a Stewart and Stevenson Series 800 Model with a Maximum pull capacity of 80,000lbs and a snubbing capacity of 40,000lbs. The Drive System utilizes Variable Displacement Motors with an internal fail-safe Braking system. This Injector is designed for handling Pipe Sizes ranging from 1” through 3.5”.

E-Coil

E-coil technology provides HWS with the ability to run a full suite of Wireline tools on our coiled tubing, this enables HWS to offer turnkey packages without the requirement of other equipment on site.
HWS utilize Tubing Encapsulated Cable (TEC) injected into our coiled tubing strings, this provides the ability to still pump abrasive and corrosive fluids such as cement and acids without damaging the cable.

Power Pack

The Power Pack is a 5,000psi Closed Loop Hydraulic system driven by a Diesel Cummings engine. The Power Pack has an independent control panel complete with electronic monitoring and diagnostic system.

Power Reel

Our Power Reels are built by Amkin and are interchangeable depending on which CT size is required reducing the need for spooling onto storage drums. The Reel is Powered by 2 Hydraulic motor and chain drive at a maximum of 3000psi.

Stuffing Box

Our Coiled Tubing unit are also equipped with a Side door Stripper. Our CTU carries a 4.06” 10,000psi Vanoil Side Door Stripper. The Stripper is also built to conform to NACE MR-01-75 standards and is capable of handling pipe sizes up to 2 7/8”.
